All-Star Update: Ridings Added to Cougars All-Star List

As one Cougars All-Star has departed, another has been added.

Due to Cougars pitcher Nick Graffeo receiving a promotion to Class-A Advanced Wilmington this past week, fellow Cougars reliever Matt Ridings has been added to the Western Division squad. Ridings joins teammates Lane Adams and Jorge Bonifacio (both of which will start in the outfield) as Cougars All-Stars.

Ridings has been a reliable part of manager Brian Buchanan’s bullpen this season, as the Cougars hit the home stretch of the season’s first half, which ends a week from today.

The Midwest League All-Star Game will be hosted by the Cougars next Tuesday, June 19!
