Where has the week gone?

As Wayne alluded to, the Cougars are less than 24 hours away from commencing the 22nd season of Cougars baseball. The team buses out to Davenport, Iowa at 9 AM tomorrow. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour trip and they’ll be on the other side of the Mississippi River by noon.

It’s been a super busy week for the team and I’m sure these last few days have moved at warp speed. Most of the guys arrived late Saturday night from Arizona and took Sunday off.

They’ve been busy ever since.

Monday included equipment issuing, some meetings, a host family mixer and a workout on the field.

Tuesday’s Photo and Media Day gave local reporters a chance to talk with the team as well as manager Buck Buchanan.

Here’s links to several stories that were in today’s papers.
